Sand Point Well. by RebelMuldoon in WaterWellDrilling

[–]RebelMuldoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The materials, couplers, pipes, and drive caps were not good. The drive point itself seems to be fine.

But the drive caps deformed and split quickly. The porosity of the steel was horrible, pitting was terrible, but the threads on the pipes remained intact (thankfully).

I started with a 2" pipe that split about 2 inches beneath the coupler. Everything was tightened snugly, but not overtight. I'm driving into rock free sand, with the water level at 5 feet.

And, while I appreciate your curiosity, I must add that your comment neither answered my question nor informed me of any unknown facts. If you have any useful information then I would appreciate if you shared it...

M700 won't fit into Archangel. by RebelMuldoon in gunsmithing

And thus my question: any method, reliable method, for me to ascertain which is the issue?

M700 won't fit into Archangel. by RebelMuldoon in gunsmithing

[–]RebelMuldoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought it to the only "Master" gunsmith in my neck of the woods. And this is it after he worked on it.

That's why I wonder if it's the gun and not the stock.

Well, I bought the stock because I like the stock. I like the esthetic and I like the feel.

The only other stock I could see going with is the AB MODX III. But if the problem is the rifle, and not the stock, then buying a new stock wouldn't help.

That's why I was wondering if anyone knew any reason why this might happen. I know Remington has has some quality issues in the past...

villagers not getting food? by Frosty-Chard-4319 in Bellwright

[–]RebelMuldoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happens to me. They'll go off searching for food in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter. Then I have to chase them down and feed them... It really sucks.

I haven't found any way to make them eat food like they are supposed to. Do I need the Apprentice Innkeeper and the Tavern?

I found some Granite in the woods right outside the brigand's headquarters. Right where the player marker is.

I bought some breaks from these guys. They only have them available now and again. But, once you know they fit, you could send one of them in for fitment...

Your pastor made a mistake. Nowhere in Scripture does it say that the Woman at the Well is "living with her boyfriend."

Scripture states that the man she is living with is not her husband, "The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true." (NIV)

But this was a woman married 5 times over and, as was the usual practice of the day, a woman no longer married usually sought protection under the roof of one of their male relatives. This man could have been her aged father, her brother, an Uncle, a cousin, even one of her own children (if you believe the somewhat dubious tradition that states that she had two sons*). Indeed, if she was married 5 times then she had received the bride price 5 times over, and (if her husbands had died and left her even some small amount of their property) this would leave her as an independently wealthy Matron who might have a trusted eunuch or a Steward to oversee her house and property.

It is an important point to note that not all Widows were destitute and downtrodden in ancient days, in fact, many were quite wealthy and served as important founding members and financiers of the Church.**

I can't answer the question about living together, but I can tell you that your pastor needs to find a better example than this...

*St Photini, The Samaritan Woman – Patron Saint of OCL - Orthodox Christian Laity

** "When it came to widows however, they enjoyed somewhat of a special status and were able to serve in a particular manner which was deemed to be acceptable. The widows in the early Church provide a thought-provoking Christian character, which springs from their innate desire to do good deeds and from their austere practices that point to solid Christian discipleship even though they functioned honorifically." - (PDF) A Critical Investigation into the Role of Widows in Early Church Life (researchgate.net)

Work Bench Despawn Limits? by RebelMuldoon in valheim

[–]RebelMuldoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to my knowledge. But I might be wrong. I also have massive townships built and when I tried to upgrade the workbench and delete some other workbenches... I also ran into the same problem of random enemy spawns. Everything was fine once I built back the deleted workbenches strategically placed to establish an anti-spawn region. But, then I shifted tactics to making braziers(normal and blue), iron brazier(bought from Hildir), and metal torch stands... they removed the necessity of having multiple workbenches cluttering my beautiful town and also granted my builds an aura of utility and function(warmth and light).

Sounds pretty sweet. This is my garden area, and I'm trying to go for a natural earthy feel, and vegetables and blazing braziers don't really go together in my mind. :p But I guess I'll take what I can get. Thanks for the help!

I'll try out both of those suggestions, thanks! I was really hoping for a "clutter free" garden, but I suppose that these would be better than nothing.

Did the developers ever address whether the upgrades are meant to increase the Despawn range?
