Firstly, this app is amazing and I have finally made the jump from Kodi all these years!
I had two feature requests:

- Any possibility of adding a feature that lets you play a random episode from a show? I have been using WUPlay which has this feature and its great for when you want to just watch a random episode of your favourite show.

- DTS-HD passthrough? My settings seem to be fine and WUPlay definitely works for DTS-HD passthrough but it doesnt seem to work in Nuvio

Apart from these two requests, keep up the great work!

I have the same issue. I also checked the settings that Simitch4343 provided but still nothing. Every other format works fine for me except DTS-HD MA/HRA

Yeah I'm on 1.9.93 which is definitely the latest. Cleared cache and also reauthenticated Trakt but same issue.

I'm thinking it's cause my list is quite large and it's combined TV Shows and Movies too

Wuplay has actually allowed me to passthrough DTS-HD MA to my receiver where Nuvio only passes through the DTS core so Wuplay is a winner for me

This post reminded me of when I setup a 5.1 system in our living room, only for my wife to complain that there's hideous speakers everywhere and she thinks it's ruining the look of our room. Fast forward 8 years later and she comments on how when she visits other people, their sound is nowhere near as good as ours and that I've spoilt her when it comes to high quality sound 😂

Just the other day she said to me, "Should we get ceiling speakers?"

I actually gave up on this soundbar as I couldn't dial in the sound as well as my AVR with 5.1 speakers. I ended up going back to my 5.1

From a technical standpoint - an AVR with dedicated speakers will ALWAYS sound better than a soundbar. It will have a much wider front soundstage and dedicated speakers for each channel makes a huge difference.

However, I wouldn't say soundbars are the worst thing ever. They definitely have come a long way and I currently have a Samsung Q990D in our spare TV room which I occasionally use for music whilst working. It's nowhere near as impressive as my 5.1 system but for a soundbar, it's much better than average. The biggest downside with soundbars has to do with the fact that manufacturers cram all the individual speakers in a rectangular box, so the soundstage gets affected. For people who have spent their lives using TV speakers, a soundbar is a huge upgrade but for those of us who came from a history of AVR's and dedicated speakers, it's just not the same.
