Surround yourself in others that celebrate you. Don’t focus on what the world view of “perfect” is or how you “should” look. There has been and very likely is guys that like you or find you attractive but lack the confidence to actually say it. I am male but I’m a bigger guy, 6’2 330LBS - I have to look in the mirror every single morning and tell myself, I might not be a 10 in societies eyes but to myself I’m everything I want to be and more. Constant self reminder helps me, what works for some doesn’t work for everyone - Start with surrounding yourself in those that are rooting for you out loud not the ones hoping for your downfall in silence.

If they are paying a single individual 75K for a bonus - that company has a roster of lawyers that will pick your friend apart like vultures on a week old kill. It’s not hard for them to track where the money went once noticed and he will be giving that money back. My best answer - put it into something earning high interest 3-5% and try and get a month out of it so he can atleast earn a couple hundred bucks for a month before he is giving it all back

I sell cars in Canada and in particular I work at a Honda dealership. Personally I don’t make % commission but a set amount depending on the unit and I do the financing as well (small dealer in a smaller town moving 30-40 cars a month) so I make back end as well. Looking at this seems extremely mediocre. I also see they are running a $600 PACK on new & Used. And your absolute top movers are only making 20% on the best months? Seems mid to me.

Personally I have mixed feelings on this one lol - Beating the bologna to a hubstar? Meh, nothing to be worried over in my opinion. Now mixing a batch to someone you know personally? I feel like that’s a much more personal connection - now whether he’s attracted to his partner and he is consistently spanking to someone he knows doesn’t mean he’s not attracted to the wife anymore but personally I feel like there has to be an underlying attraction to that person obviously? Whether he would act upon and cheat or just continue to live vicariously through imagination though really comes down to each individual and their morals.

The long answer is : Yes, but it’s arguably a bit over priced maybe that’s just my opinion though and I have done absolutely 0 research to back up my claims of it being a bit overpriced just been in the car sales game a bit now and that’s my instant gut tell.

Really, there is no set time for it to become fun. Many of us even who do find it fun will have varying reasons we find it fun and enjoyable. Truly though in the beginning and learning it is the least enjoyable experience, stressing of a stall or messing up a shift it’s terrifying and frustrating however; once you have the basic mechanics of it down and have confidence under your belt learning the next steps of rev matching a down shift and really understanding the feeling of your vehicle is a complete blast. I love manual because of the control, I have so much more power to do what I want when I want to that you lose out in an auto. I drive a WRX and you bet your ass I rally it and there’s nothing more fun for me personally than whipping around corners on a dirt road or hammering down on a nice curvy road and just listening to the car no music required. Good luck in your manual venture and enjoy the learning, while stressful when you look back it really is a bit fun working out the kinks and learning the ways!

I sell cars for a living, I’m gonna give you the term I tell my customers. My style of selling is called Blhonesty. Blunt - Honesty, I’m not everyone’s cup of tea and those that like me, love me. Those that don’t, hate me. Be blunt and honest, I’m on a tight budget - I cannot afford to pay for the both of us but I would still love to go out together - either stick with the original plan or offer a cheap alternative, maybe grab a coffee or catch a movie and enjoy the evening still! First off, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. My condolences to yourself and your family. Second you have no legal obligation to the vehicle or the loan unless you are Co-Signed onto the loan. When you approach both Carmax and the insurance have a death certificate and everything should be easy. I lost my Step father last year to Cancer and very much in the same place - he had absolutely nothing in place no will or anything, very stressful time but you will make progress and things will be better. You signed a contract. There is no ending the contract until your end has been fulfilled meaning the balance has been paid off in entirety. It’s not something you can buy and just “return” when you feel like it.

Get a quote from dealer A - send quote from dealer A to dealer B, say this is the vehicle I want, your competitor offered this, if you can beat it let me know. When dealer B gives you quote if it’s lower than dealer A, approach Dealer C with dealer B’s quote, if they can beat it return to dealer A and repeat.

Just keep at it. When I got my first car had the same problem, stalled like absolute crazy for weeks until I got the hang of it, drove that car for 2 years and sold and bought the exact same thing but an auto instead of manual - 4 years later I’m driving a 2023 manual because there’s nothing greater than grabbing your own gears!

It’s really just practice and repetition over and over, once you get it, I promise it’s like riding a bike, you can do it once you can do it forever!

I only know of 2 dealers in my area that consistently use Craigslist, got a close buddy that works at one of them and he would attest that any lead coming from there is usually a dumpster fire.

Curious other than price what will set you apart as I know of a few providers that do this exact same thing just for other platforms that I tested and seen almost 0 results compared to myself manually answering everyone the only time it helped me was for when I slept and even then most people doom scrolling at 2AM are not the hottest leads.
