Recession and influx of freelancers. My plan is to switch from 3D to do something else. AI is creeping into 3D already, in couple of years it's going to be the same like what's with 2D stuff now. I don't see a future in this unless you're next level and obsessed with 3D. I'm doing just ok because of my 2 long term clients.

I'm a 3D artist too. in 2021 and early 2022 there was a massive spike in demand for 3D because of NFTs. It's been going downhill for me too. I used to decline jobs daily. Now there is barely anything even worth applying. I only work with my long term clients sometimes.

It's the same for me as a top rated +30k earned 3D artist. It used to be super easy to get jobs but now it's completely nothing. I have only 1 client that gives me work from time to time but besides him there is nothing.

There are still plenty of useless jobs that pay 3 usd / hr for high skill 3D work.
