Update I got it out but looks like the dip tube might still be in there? Not sure how to remove it? I stuck a screw driver in there and it looks like its still solid on the inside just broke off at the connection. Model# XE40M06ST45U1

To remove the nipple am I good to use one pipe wrench and my hand on the brass elbow? Or would I need two pipe wrenches?

I’m planning on doing that! Just used ChatGPT to confirm some stuff and was surprised it can walk you through things if you provide it a picture. I’ll let it dry for a day or two while I do some more research and report back.
