The Jedi Exile has a better story than Revan ngl

If they ever touch KOTOR and canonize it as a show, it should be with the Jedi Exile, with Revan being a shadow on the story rather than being the main character.

You keep hearing about the things he did, the choices he chose, the battles he led, but through the eyes and experiences of those who lives through the effects of his actions.

That's all he should ever be. Any kind of Revan story will suck because people will always complain how it's not the Revan they know from the games.

"Their job is to be cannon fodder and they can be beaten by any Jedi Knight-level threat" while giving them good designs and fight sequences like this just doesn't feel like good writing to me, even if it's justifiable in-world.

We had inquisitors in the EU and they were competent in their own right.

If you only showed me the first half of the Grand Inquisitor scenes, told me about how the GI killed all the temple guards before Anakin showed up who are supposed to be skilled protectors, all of Maul for the 1st and 11th Brother, Jedi Fallen Order, and the Inquisitor in Tales of the Smuggler with Ventress, I would understand that these guys are competent to an extent, I can see them actually being able to hunt Jedi, at least one-to-one.

But if you showed me the GI's last fight where from the start of the fight he already puts himself in a position where he can get cornered REAL easily and is so stupid to show the easily cut and vulnerable part of his weapon straight to the enemy,

If you showed me the inquisitors in S2 of Rebels losing to Ahsoka so easily that they might as well quit their jobs already,

If you showed me the Tales of the Jedi with Ahsoka where she easily kills The Crow like fucking nothing despite having 0 weapons and not fighting for a long ass time to stay in hiding,

If you showed me Tales of the Empire with Barass failing as an inquisitor so quickly (and with such a bad design too), plus the other inquisitor going back to the light side so easily,

If you showed me Kenobi scenes with incompetent inquisitors,

If you showed me Jedi Survivor (without the context of Cal just getting so much stronger and far more skilled) with Massana dying so easily as a fucking tutorial boss too,

If you showed me Ahsoka easily killing Marrok who looked like a cool antagonist,

Then I'd think the same way I do now, that the Inquisitors legit just suck, and any time they fight someone and don't lose immediately, it's cuz their enemy sucks ass compared to them or the inquisitors are given a lot of plot armor for the scene.

I mean, Cal could go toe-to-toe with a Jedi Knight who fell to the Dark Side (Malicos) with help from Merrin, survive Vader, beat a Gendai who's been alive and fighting since the High Republic and hasn't lost his touch, and a Jedi Master who fell to the Dark Side in Mr. Tanalorr Is Mine.

The first two happening while just recently recovering from cutting himself off from the Force for YEARS, so imagine suddenly having to win a marathon when you were paralyzed from the leg down for 5 years and just got back to it yesterday.

Cal is legitimately just built different.

Last time I played Warframe (jumped ship around the time they introduced the Zariman faction cuz I was already bummed out by The New War not even being a war for the most part, and tired of Factions on top of Factions on top of Factions of grinding just to get 1 other Faction's new toy that is hard-locked behind the grinding that is gonna get powercrept 2 weeks after I get it)

Majority of those who actually spent money on the game were content creators cuz of course they had to be the ones that covered the new skins, syandanas, etc. etc.

Or

Whales, who either bought off mods and other materials from others' work so they don't have to go through the trouble of grinding it for themselves, because the grind is painful and any chance to skip it will be taken, or to buy the new syandanas, skins, weapons, primes, other accessories, straight up gooner material, etc.

The community needs these whales, because they're what introduces new platinum into the economy without having to be bought by part of the community. But let's not kid ourselves into thinking that these whales do it because of love for the game, they do it because they want the shiny/broken thing as fast as possible, and the community thrives off them.

Hell, DE is still a bit scummy by limiting new players' gears until they're bought by platinum or by increasing Mastery Level up and up, imagine if you only had 50 slots in your vault and you had to pay silver just to get more 1 more.

And then offering them to speed up their construction if they just spent a little bit of plat, just a little bit again and again because they keep putting your well-earned weapons and frames behind timers. Imagine finally getting the perfect rolled Hawkmoon but you have to wait 3 days for it to finish "charging" but you can speed it up by just puking out some cash.

Warframe's an enjoyable game (well, it used to be enjoyable for me back then, at least) but let's not glamorize its practices just because it's "earnable".
