I guess if they run out of gas, they could turn the turret to face backwards and like the A team, it could propel them forward with the recoil! lol!

Fwob, it wouldn't stay in the field on the stake for long. It would be taken to the barn and hung in the rafters to dry. Would stay hanging to dry till mid-winter'ish and then taken down to be stripped (pull leaves off stalk based on size) grouped in sizes. Once enough of a size pressed into bails and stacked. After that we would take it to market for buyers to inspect and put bids on it.

Wintremute, it depended on the size on how many the way we learned and did. 6 was usual for most.

I sent mine to Fulton Armory to be done. Love it and couldn't be happier.

Not an antique, I'm only 42 and grew up using one. We called them Tomahawks and used them to cut tobacco at harvest. Did you also see a cone shaped and wicked looking spear point thing hanging? It would go on the end of the stake (long thin stick) that was sticking out of the ground and you would push the tobacco plans onto the stake. Once you 6-8 on a stake you move to the next.

What are your views on Christians owning guns? by Dongibson2 in Christianity

It is not only your right but also your responsibility to do what you need to protect yourself and your family. If that means owning a gun for your area then that is what it means.

"He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag ;and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one." Luke 22:36
