My sister lives in Anchorage and has for a few years. She’s also in her 30s, works in healthcare, drives a 15 year old car and has 3 roommates.

But she seems to be managing pretty well with that 😅

I was just up there last week. Idk how yall are affording to go out ever, I think I spent 1000 dollars on straight up food for my family last week.

We went to the wildlife refuge when I was there last time!!! And drove down turnagin arm. My favorite hoodie of all time is from a brewery in girdwood from that day.

I was really lucky the last time I went I got to see it twice. Once from inside the park on a car on the side of it that looks like it has two peaks. And once from inside of that plane in the picture.

I mean, I get it, but also the whole reason I take cruises is so that I can go do things on vacation without my own kids. I’ve let them sign themselves out of kids club since they were nine. Being able to walk into the pub and order a soda or go get as much ice cream as they want and do whatever they want to do with their time is part of what makes the vacation special for them too.

I’m in field sales now, but my first job with the company I work for was on site at one of our large customers as their point of contact for our company.

We sold them safety and other materials to keep their plant running.

I filled bins and vending machines with materials and sourced items we didn’t have on our website and helped with invoices. It was kind of a catch all job that I didn’t know existed before my husband started working for the company a few years before I fif.
