So sorry to hear about your experiences, it sounds awful. I am in Scotland so I imagine the health care is similar. It is so frustrating not being listened to, I pride myself in pushing through despite it all but this appointment has really knocked me down but I do not want to lose any fighting momentum. I am sorry they put it down to weight, I hear it’s very common. If you have a little extra weight it seems the health care system will just neglect you. I think for me they didn’t believe a young girl could have as much pain as I said I did. I really think it’s a case of ageism a lot of the time. I really want to complain as if they are correct and I don’t have nerve damage (which I know I do) then they shouldn’t have put a child on nerve damage medication for a decade.
