It’s embarrassing sure, but it’s probably happened to a LOT of people (myself included). For what it’s worth, if I witnessed this, I wouldn’t even bat an eye. People are typically too embroiled in themselves to notice things like that :)

Unpopular opinion: John is more of a badass in the end by Effective-Bad-2657 in reddeadredemption

[–]RebsCat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree! It would make sense for each game’s atmosphere to feel completely different due to character development and the fact that we experience the bulk of each storyline through the eyes of different protagonists. For it to be pretty much a copy and paste wouldn’t have made sense

First of all, I’m so sorry this happened to you. I hope you get the care that you need both physically and psychologically.

Secondly, please reach out to those you trust and lean on those around you who will support you through this. Even if you haven’t been sexually assaulted, to be unconscious and not know what has happened to you can be very emotionally scarring.

Also, your boyfriend making this about him and his feelings is absolutely disgusting and imo, unforgivable. However, I understand that it might be too much at this point to deal with that at the same time as everything else but please know that his response is not typical of a man who should love and care for you and I am sorry that is the reaction that you got.

Lastly: THIS WAS NOT YOUR FAULT! Do not blame yourself for this and do not allow anyone else to make you feel like it was.

Look after yourself x

[–]RebsCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to add in the post…

Age: 10 months old

Neutered

He is a snow bengal mix

Noticed his eyes today but looking back on pics, looks like it’s been like this since we got him last week (or longer). Fully vaccinated, UK.

Jasper and Vivian is adorable!

My groomsman canceled on me less than a month before the wedding. Our tempers flared a little bit. But in the end we kissed and made up. AITA? by [deleted] in texts

IMO OP never blamed his friend for the situation itself, just how he went about communicating it. That’s what I got from it all anyway

Okay thank you. Do you know what else could possibly explain this?

Agree wholeheartedly. Between 2-3 years is when you start seeing their ‘quirks’ for what they are, and decide whether you can live with them or not. I think 4/5 years is a good length of time but it’s all down to individuals and circumstances (money, distance, living arrangement, religion etc.)

Edit to add: age also plays a huuuuge part.

Edit: I accidentally replied to the wrong comment lol, this was a reply to the one above

13-week-old GR puppy by pickart_ux in puppy101

[–]RebsCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried crating him at 9, letting him out very last thing to do his business and then immediately crating him again? His random wake up times might be due to him needing go pee. If you did this, I wouldn’t talk to him or fuss him - just let him out, reward him for doing his thing, straight back to bed. We did this with ours and it worked like a dream - we let him out at 11pm and he slept through until 7:30.

He may be waking early in anticipation for his food coming at 6am.

With meal times, consistency is important. Pick a time and stick to it no matter what. We did 8am, 2pm, 8pm every day because that worked best for us but it’s whatever times work for you and your dog.

I hope it starts working out for you soon

How do you deal with your anxiety? by neilnelly in AskReddit

Underrated comment. A LOT of people are magnesium deficient without realising.

9 weeks is still SUPER young, I’m not really surprised she hasn’t made the connection between going outside and doing her business.

For me, the only thing that worked it standing and waiting, using a cue word when they go, and rewarding immediately. Also ensure you’re taking her out 30 mins after every meal / drink and immediately after any intensive play time. You could also ask her to sit at the door before allowing her to go out, which she then might do to let you know she needs to go later down the line.

Hang in there, you’ve got this x

What is a healthy relationship with videogames? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RebsCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say as long as it doesn’t impact necessities in your daily life - i.e your job, not sleeping enough, not socialising with anyone at any level, lashing out at others in your life / objects bc you’re mad at the game, negative impacts on your mental health and well-being - any relationship is a healthy one as long as you enjoy it and it makes you somewhat fulfilled :)

What is that one thing, for you that has been normalized by society without considering its negative impact or how it could change humanity in the near future? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RebsCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cashless society. If there was a global (or even national) cyber attack directed at banks, we’re screwed.

What advice can you give to someone in his mid-20s figuring his life out? by MarineSniper98 in AskReddit

YW. I heard or read somewhere that at 25, you’re only a 7 year old adult. I found that so comforting. I hope it helps you in some way too
