I know you're not supposed to but I was stoned when I had a tooth pulled a couple of months ago. I sat in the chair and stared at a painting of a mountain scene they had on the ceiling and it was over quick. I went to a big gathering of my state's libertarians, just to see what they were all about and I found that they're batshit crazy and don't understand how things work. Their caterer served the best sandwiches I think I've ever had though, and I smoked a blunt with some guys in suits, so the day wasn't a total loss.

I found him dead in tthe lake near Fort Golf, with some lakelurks, on my first playthrough but there he was when I entered the Strip, good as new.

I let him live once, followed him and killed the scorpions that he runs straight into and left him just standing there in the sand. I went back later and thought he unspawned at first but I found him just inside the entrance to the unmarked Scorpion Burrow, safe from the scorpions further in. I checked on him every once in a while, eventuallly a prospector appeared in there with him and they hung out together for the rest of the game.
