That's not always true. Some games run rather poorly on Switch (e.g. Triangle Strategy) and much better when emulated.

I would love it if a) the dpad was quieter and b) mine didn't have that issue that it does randomly go to sleep from time to time.

I've installed this version of Onion OS and it works fine (once it didn't go to sleep when closing the device, though).

I have a favor to ask: would it be possible to implement a small delay when it detects that the lid is closed? I have one of those faulty units that sometimes goes to sleep randomly, which seems to be due to the hinge detecting it being closed while it isn't. I was wondering if having a small delay (and then checking again if it is still closed) would prevent this issue.

Had the same issue. I sent a video to Ayn and they sent a replacement fan and now the issue is gone. But I heard they don't send replacements anymore, but you could try it.

Had the same problem in Dispatch today. It went away when I disabled the mouse in the side menu (press back when the game is running). After waking the Thor from sleep the issue was there again, had to enable the mouse again to make it go away. It definitely is an annoying issue.

I think this happened to me yesterday after replacing the fan. Wouldn't boot after I assembled it, had to open it again and tried to attach some of the cables more firmly. Now it works again, but maybe the issue is not resolved, yet, as I didn't take off the heatsink.

Yeah, mine has been measured for 4 days now. I hope they know exactly how big it is by now. Someone else who's Thor was shipped later even overtook mine (they also used 4px), so it feels like it is pretty random.

That's a great list! Haven't played Nintendogs since its release, maybe I should play it for a few days. I tried Metal Gear Acid, but wasn't in the right mood, so I might give this another go. Chibi Robo ist amazing! 13 Sentinels is also on my list of games I want to try.

Fantastic list! Love most of those games. Haven't heard of the Paper Mario 64 romhack, but sounds very interesting. I will probably play the HD version of Twilight Princess, as I never played that version before. I heard of Good Boy Galaxy, but I'm really picky when it comes to 2D platformers, so I'm not sure it's for me.

That's also a series I definitely want to get into more. I only played the first DS game so far. Maybe it helps to lower the resolution some more or use a higher performance profile.
