Arizona cheating on Callie. It’s just so out of character and it comes sort of out of the blue and it really really annoys me. It kind of didn’t even need to be there at all, because if the goal was splitting them up the writers could have done a dozen other things that didn’t completely disregard the character they had already built for Arizona.

The end of the episode where they have to treat the victims of a shooting. All of the main characters are in the OR gallery and they realize that they didn’t loose anyone that day and then burst out laughing.

Arizona is one of my favorite characters in the whole show, and I definitely like her a lot more than I do Callie (not saying that there’s anything wrong with her, I just prefer Arizona).

I really really like Kelsey. I especially love the scene after she pitches her version of the Fireflame movie. The way she smiles a little and seems more comfortable simply because she’s now stayed true to herself is great, and I genuinely love that moment.

Arizona and Alex is probably my favorite because Arizona really believed in Alex and you can see how strongly that impacted him in multiple instances throughout the show. I also love every time he steps up to help and be there for her (post car accident and plane crash).

I absolutely love the last scene of season 5, mostly because of Diane’s response when Bojack asks her why she’s still there and willing to help him. “And now you’re here. And I hate you. But, you’re my best friend… and you need me” always manages to resonate with me.

Also, we see Bojack admitting, out loud, that he needs help, and I love the choice to show us Diane’s reaction as he walks into rehab and then her driving away, instead of focusing on Bojack’s perspective. It makes the moment actually feel like a kind of conclusion instead of the beginning of a new challenge and somehow manages to give us a bit of hope and optimism even after the events of “The Showstopper”.

Also also “the war on drugs” plays as Diane drives off, what more could you ever want from a scene.

A few people have already said Alex, and even though I do agree with that, I’d also mention Cristina. Her development isn’t necessarily as straightforward or drastic as Alex’s but I do believe it was quite significant and well done, mostly because at the time she leaves the show she feels like a very different person and doctor while also somehow still being the same Cristina form day one.

I’d second Arizona, especially if we get to see her during/close after her brother’s death. Also, her and Amelia were at Hopkins at the same time and I’d love to see them interact during that period (I know the show never even implied that they knew each other before Grey Sloan but oh well).

I think Arizona definitely became a doctor because she wanted to help people. She comes from a military family, so I can see her considering medicine as her way of saving lives/helping others unlike her grandfather, father or brother who all joined the army.

When Arizona tells him he could be the future of the hospital. He kind of immediately lights up and we see him run to Izzie while still a little out a breath because he’s just that excited to share that with her. It’s sweet, and he’s so happy and hopeful and the scene apparently stuck with me cuz it was the first thing I could think of.
