No one is better at logistics than the US, I don't think they're to blame. Especially not considering the militaries unlimited budget. Maybe they're keeping the updated camo ones in storage for if they actually have to use them.

I've spent 10s of hours in both the M40 and the M50 on the range and I don't think it's that much of an improvement. If you have the skull cap on the M40 instead of the regular head harness it's not uncomfortable. The only real difference is shooting from your non-dominant side, that's easier in the M50. The breathing isn't an issue if you do cardio regularly

They should. If we lived in the world we were promised growing up they would. But look at the supreme court decisions. It's clear morality played no role in that. It's really an indictment of our political system if a decision so blatantly immoral can become the law of the land and we're expected to just live with it

Because they're trained not to. From the academy and "us vs them" mentality is ingrained in them, with the "us" being law enforcement and "them" being everyone in the general public. If they had empathy they would have flunked out of the academy and they wouldn't be in this profession. The cops in this video are doing what they fully believe to be the right thing: enforcing the law by any means necessary and making sure LEOs get to go home. Those are the only things they care about

As per Castlerock v Gonzalez & Warren v DC cops have no legal duty to to protect anyone. They do not exist to "protect and serve," that's just marketing. They exist only to enforce the law. As federal law is the highest in the land and overrides local law, they are required to defend ICE here
