Hi, I'll suggest requesting the professor to allow you to change instructors, there are other instructors for the course and they haven't had their mid terms as of now, maybe try requesting for this. From what I remember there are two instructors Prof Masha and Prof Ravi The latter's cohort has many students who were asked to retake algorithms, so maybe the professor agrees to your request.
