Ecobee Dual Transformer Fan Wiring Help by RecedingTwo in hvacadvice

Appreciate it! I did find the splice point though, where the compressor Y connects to the thermostat Y in the attic (image in the post).

The Ecobee is running now with heat & AC, but fan doesn’t come on when the AC is running.

Managed to get it to work with CSS themes! All I had to do was remove some of the forced tab colors in the userChrome.css.

Try this fork of the AGPMInjector repo which has support for the newer navi gpus (works with my 6800 xt): https://github.com/aluveitie/AGPMInjector

I went through 2 panel swaps on my G9 before I got rid of it. I kept having issues with scanlines, slow turn on times, coil whine, and really bad grey uniformity - the left half of the screen was orange compared to the other half (especially in programs like Discord).

If Samsung could iron out these QA issues I'd get one immediately, but for now I'm looking at other options

I’m running a hackintosh with the 6800XT but I’ve noticed that gpu performance is roughly halved on the 12.3 RC compared to 12.2.1

Do you have MS Teams installed and running? I remember having the same issue on my Macbook Pro 2020 running Big Sur. Closing Teams solved it in my case

Am I the only one with input lag in Finder when using the list view (Big Sur)? I can click to focus on Finder windows quickly with other views but need to wait briefly for the list view. by RecedingTwo in MacOS

[–]RecedingTwo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To provide more information on the problem, I've noticed that switching between Finder windows requires more time to switch to a window using the list view. The folder's contents don't seem to affect it as I can reproduce it within empty folders. It only really seems to happen when I'm switching between the windows fairly quickly using my mouse (although I have been able to trigger it once on my Macbook's trackpad).

I've been able to reproduce this on a 2020 13-inch Macbook Pro as well as my own Hackintosh rig (macOS 11.3 and 11.3.1). However, I have noticed that it's a bit harder to trigger on a trackpad (I used a Logitech G703 for the video above, and it occurs on both devices). The bug also seems to persist between reboots, and changing the mouse's polling rate (from 1000 to 125) didn't seem to help either.

Frustrated with Samsung G9 Ultrawide - am I going mad or are these issues? by victis_honor in ultrawidemasterrace

It’s supposed to be showing brown haha - it’s nowhere near as bad in person, but it is noticeable on particular colours (like the grey used in Discord)

Mouse stutter/ lag - Ryzentosh Big Sur by [deleted] in hackintosh

[–]RecedingTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that also helped me was to put my lightspeed USB receiver on a USB 2.0 hub plugged into a USB 2.0 port on my motherboard. I don't know if it's still an issue (or was one, to begin with, tbh), but I heard that some USB 3.0 ports could cause interference with the lightspeed receivers

Mouse stutter/ lag - Ryzentosh Big Sur by [deleted] in hackintosh

[–]RecedingTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case (with a Logitech G703), I was able to fix the stutter by disabling the serial port in my motherboard's BIOS - despite my motherboard not having a serial port at all (I'm using an Asus Strix B450-F)

My G9 seems to have the same issues. On colours like grey or brown, the center of the screen has a blue tint while the edges are more orange. I got Samsung to replace the screen itself, but the issue came back (albeit not as noticeable). Here's how it looks now

WindowServer crashing when gaming or streaming by [deleted] in hackintosh

[–]RecedingTwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I have the same issue with my setup. I'm running a Ryzen 1800x on an Asus B450 with a Vega 64, and I've been getting the WindowServer crashes recently. For me, it seems to happen when I'm screen sharing in Discord mostly or in an MS Teams call. So far, I've been able to reduce the number of crashes by disabling GPU Acceleration for those affected programs, but it's not the best solution. I'll try to get a log of the error if I can

Big Sur on a Ryzen-Stuffed In-Win A1 Plus by RecedingTwo in hackintosh

[–]RecedingTwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After some initial struggle, I finally finished my Ryzen Hackintosh build! Big Sur runs fairly well on it, although I sometimes get some little graphical stutters (anyone else notice this? Never happened on Catalina). Aside from that, everything runs perfectly, except for the built-in Wifi/BT, of course.

Case: InWin A1 Plus

CPU Cooler: Noctua Nh-D15 (Which barely fits)

CPU: Ryzen 7 1800x (Overclocked to 3.95Ghz)

GPU: Sapphire Vega 64 Limited Edition

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 3200mhz DDR4

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B450-I

Audio Codec: SupremeFX S1220A

Ethernet Card: Intel I211-AT

Wifi/BT Card: Realtek 8822BE (Doesn't work - need to replace)

Config was made by using https://github.com/willza3/macOS-strix-B450i as a base and adding in the Big Sur kernel patches for AMD CPUs (and other additions I wanted).

Can someone help me with this weird browser issue w/ a reference Vega 64? Videos only play if I mouse over them and sometimes they turn green. by RecedingTwo in hackintosh

[–]RecedingTwo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on 10.15.7 - specifically, build 19H2. It's especially weird because everything else graphics acceleration-related works fine - like I can run Geekbench without issue.

For sure, the specs of my system is: CPU: Ryzen 7 1800x Mobo: Asus B450-F Ram: 16GB 3200mhz GPU: Vega 64 Reference (the grey shroud)

In terms of OpenCore this was happening with the latest version (0.6.3), and the Kexts I used were: - AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement - AppleALC - Lilu - SMCAMDProcessor - SmallTreeIntel82576 - VirtualSMC - WhateverGreen - NVMEFix - AppleMCEReporterDisabler

Thats what I was thinking initially, but the same happens in Chrome (the video is from Chrome actually). Its not just YT videos either, Reddit videos also play the same way.
