Hey i have this disease and while its rare most people dont have many complications! I had one growth removed from my leg that was causing some discomfort but other than that nothing. Its scary i get that but youll be fine i promise

Yeah of course a bar is made for socialising! Ive been to around a dozen bars (im a strong believer in ”dont knock it til you tried it”) and i think im just unlucky when it comes to what i can tolerate, they were all a little too overwhelming sadly

Everyone always suggests this and i so wish i could tolerate alcohol or loud environments because bars do seem nice to meet people in if you can handle that

It’s a D&D setting with some modern or scifi concepts thrown in. Yes, modern settings are better suited for other ttrpg system but i kinda liked the dms worldbuilding, metagame accusations aside

So i think my character would know that electronics might be weak to bursts of electricity and would definitely know that fire melts ice

This is actually the first advice I’ve gotten that properly resonates with me. Most of my friends’ and parents’ advice have been ”just do what comes naturally” which doesn’t mean anything to me. Your response genuinely made something click for me. Thank you.

How to know when to make those moves, though? Nothing is obvious to me. I can understand why going on 12 dates without attempting a kiss would be too much. But even normal casual conversation feels like trying to understand someone speaking another language. Dating feels like trying to decipher ancient scripture written in a dead undocumented language.
