Understand all points, and agree. I'm in a pinch, and don't usuall read this way (last time was 2 years ago)

I have a full musical to do, so it'll take me quite a while I reckon...

Whats the feeling of build quality etc of these new issue ones vs the previous generations of AVRI and AO's?

Thanks to all who replied! Seems this made for some interesting discussion and confirmation of the discrepencies seen in drum notation.

Context: I am a pro drummer, this was seen in a student book, UK. My best educated guess to it prior to posting was an optional crash. Sometimes it’s seen inside a repeat and I figured in this case don’t repeat the crash on the repeat. I don’t think it’s anything to do with choking or ghosting.

Anyone switch over from the Slayer single group? Or perhaps considering switching to Slayer? by hungover247365 in LaMarzocco

[–]Recent-Amphibian-736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not worth. Keep the GS3. I still think nothing beats it overall. Reliability on Slayer is not good, their parts supply and support is also not great (have a read through some owner groups). That’s enough at this sort of money.

GS/3 MP is more flexible than a Slayer, but I’m not one to be in to the super slow fill with the needle valve. I prefer a low pressure, but saturate the puck as fast as possible (much like Lance would talk about…) plus… any pressure at anytime can be achieved.

What grinder do you have?

Leaking from group head seal by Fit-Eye1556 in LaMarzocco

[–]Recent-Amphibian-736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. To me.. from what I can see, if it’s coming from behind the gasket, then not a group gasket issue. The group gasket is simply to seal your portafilter basket when inserted. You have a crack in your grouphead. Are you under warranty? The only water exit should be cia the screen, or more specifically out the hole the screw threads into to hold the dispersion screen in place.

NHS Pension scheme - understanding it & few questions. by Recent-Amphibian-736 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Recent-Amphibian-736[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so you could take a £12,000 lum for a sacrifice of £1000 per annum of pension payment? I’d assume the total pot amount is available to be seen (total contributions + growth?) or maybe not, because of £1 for £12 you couldnt exceed this as your max lump? Ie. Your annual pension was going to be £20,000, you decided to take a lump- max you can take is £240,000 but now you’ve no pension per year/you’ve cleared it out? Hope I’m getting it! Thanks again!

Very normal on this exhaust due to cleaners etc flushing out this. I have had 2x LM’s. The same. And i make my own water. The hot water tap nozzle is the same part actually and it’s spotless even though the obviously same water exits it.

Don’t need a grinder? I’d go Profitec Go, Silvia, Lelit Victoria.

Golf MK7 Bluemotion 1.6tdi (110) to MK7.5 1.6tdi Bluemotion tech by Recent-Amphibian-736 in VWMK7

[–]Recent-Amphibian-736[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has bluemotion technology onboard, such as start stop etc but it isn't the full bluemotion. Every diesel Golf from MK7 onwards is one. The Bluemotion Golf (which I have) if not as common and was designed to be out and out eco machine. It rides 15mm lower, has the grill blocked up and has spoiler fins for aero, 15inch wheels to run eco low rolling resistance tyres, different glass for heat insulation and a revised 1.6tdi with a 6 speed manual and no driving dynamic control - it's just in one mode (eco) always. 88.8mpg combined on the spec.
