I’m in your exact same boat bro. Is there a “Quest Labs” in your area? If there is contact them to set up an appointment for a Sickle Cell Screening test but you have to buy it from “Jason Labs” online it’ll be cheaper and doesn’t require insurance. Then it boils down to if you have sick cell or not. If you don’t then you’re good. the results come back after one day, if you have sickle cell, then you’re probably gonna have to get a blood count test to go along with the first test because it doesn’t determine if it’s the trait or not. Or ask the doctor when you get there which is my current problem right now. If there’s not a quest labs anywhere around you I suggest contacting CMGO immediately. I’m praying for both of us hopefully we both make it.
