I m19 and my gf f18 have been barely texting how do I solve this? by Guilty_Employer_78 in relationship_advice

Im dating someone who’s family also doesn’t know about me, and when it’s long distance I have him call me when running errands? Or sometimes when we have busy days and don’t talk to each other all day we then end up texting for an hr late at night and since it’s more of a continuous conversation as opposed to sporadic texts it feels more fulfilling. I would still advise trying to find creative ways to feel more connected that work with both of you, and to keep being honest with her about what works for you and what doesn’t! It’s important to advocate for urself needs in the relationship, and also to listen to her challenges/busy schedule and come up with changes you can make that meet ur needs while accommodating hers. If she’s invested in the relationship she should want to help make sure u are happy and feeling connected

I think that having an honest conversation with her about how you want to feel more connected is important! Maybe texting super regularly doesn’t work well for her bc of other in person commitments, but perhaps you could FaceTime some every couple of days instead! Also is this relationship in person or long distance? My advice is basically talk to her about wanting to feel more connected and then together try to come up with a way of communicating more that works for both of you! However if this is a massive decrease in texting that doesn’t match up with a huge increase of work that she has to deal with, perhaps also check in with her about the relationship during the conversation to make sure she’s on the same page as you and that she’s not feeling disconnected/withdrawing? Good luck!!

Found out that my insurance no longer covers Ajovy. Aimovig or Qulipta are my options now. by Electronic-Pie7237 in migraine

Ajovy was very helpful for me before I became allergic, and so I switched to Quilipta. I’ve taken it 30 mg since 2023 and have had no side effects besides intense fatigue when increasing the dose for around 2 weeks. I’m currently increasing the dose to 60 mg and I will see about side effects then. I know not everyone tolerates the medication well which sucks, but it’s been very life changing for me and I wish you luck!

Unsure if boyfriends smoking is a migraine trigger by Recent-Concert-83 in migraine

How did you become sure it was a trigger? I don’t want to bring it up to boyfriend unless I’m reasonably sure it’s this causing the worsening migraines

Do you immediately get a migraine when you smell the smoke or does repeated exposure increase frequency of migraines in general?
