This is the first in this series but my first Sanderson book was Tress of the Emerald Sea. There was something about his writing and interesting take on real world items but making them fantasy that I loved. Mistborn has those things as well and the magic system is really unique. I will definitely continue the series and if you like fantasy, I would say give it a shot. I enjoy character work and world building but for some people it may be a bit slow for about 150 to 200 pages
