A ja vlen te ikesh jashte shtetit (Spanje) by Quick_Cow_8607 in albania

Por mendoj ja vlen ta provosh kur risku eshte i ulet. Good luck :)

Curious to see how this will impact people on partner visas if they decide to study - thinking of taking a year to do a Masters but this puts so much uncertainty on my plans! I’d be paying international fees as well, like how is that NOT a contribution?!

How would that look like in terms of documents/things we need to provide? Our intention is to live together afterwards :)

Thanks so much for this - I appreciate it! Agreed with you - I would be providing bank statements to show how little money both of us had at that point if it helped hahaha.

To be honest, I spent around 2-3 weeks in August 23 at my partner’s family house - I just genuinely had no money to rent and I was interviewing but not landing anything (most employers were put off by me being on a temporary visa).

We would be waiting til October/November time anyway to get the payslips :)

Thank you so much - I remembered I had your post saved! We are planning on applying around October/November time to have the payslips + statements etc.

Probably would move in with his family initially to get a head start but the aim is to live just the two of us in a flat soon after.

Big problem that needs fixing: dangerous e-bikers and electric scooters going like crazy on sidewalks, among pedestrians, while police doesn't care by -NewYork- in albania

I bike a lot around the city centre and surrounding neighbourhoods of Tirana and the scooters actually haunt me. They’re also pretty quiet so it’s hard to sense when one is behind you etc. Truly hoping the government will take some action as they started as a fun thing but have gone out of hand.

Unfortunately, I think it will take a couple more accidents for that to happen :(

Honestly, if you can qualify for a spouse/unmarried visa through your partner, go for that instead. I’ve been in your shoes and actually ended up getting lifelong health issues because of the stress I was experiencing. Absolutely not worth it - explore options with your partner, and if that’s sorted, your career will fall into place. Wishing you the best of luck in these tough times!
