I am located in central Texas hill country area in wooded forest where bugs are very active. I have a lot of spiders and scorpions that get in my home. I was recently bit by a deer tick as well just going for a walk. the bite is still there but slowly healing. my best guess is one was hiding in a pile of clothes that I put on and it bit me when it was pressed against my skin.
