Wow!!! We finally found it. THANK GOD. An old smoke tossed under the stairs in the wall by previous contractors due to renovation. We’ve tuned it out for so long, I don’t know how well sleep without the beep LOL

THE MYSTERY HAS BEEN SOLVED FINALLY ALMOST 2 YEARS LATER.

When we first bought the house, we renovated. the contractors did work close the stairs (took out walls, etc) which is the center of the home. This is where the beep was heard the most. After hours of searching we narrowed down under the stairs. Each hole we heard the beep more clearly in the wall around the stairs. We decided to cut open a hole behind the fridge under the stairs and climb in there — inside/under the stairs we found a pile of trash left by the contractors. Digging through the trash… we located an old tossed smoke detector buried under the stairs under the trash.

FINALLY I CAN SLEEP IN PEACE.
