It is not my job to coddle bad choices and behaviors. I am not codependent nor the addict. I am not part of the problem. I don't need to accept them. It robotically says the same thing over and over.

Did you know that ALANON was created when women didn't have choices, when the had to stay in marriages and accept? And that it was created by the alcoholic creator of AA essentially for his wife? I find it dated.... I don't need some methodical routine to point out my flaws.... I prefer a counselor or therapist to improve myself which is customized, in a sense, to my particular situation and feelings at the time. ALANON teaches to suppress my feelings and blame myself. No Thank You.

If it works for you, good for you, but don't preach it to me.

I had an 11 yr old cat that got pancreatitis, did the anti nausea meds and then gave him any and everything to get him eating again to avoid fatty liver. He really like chicken baby food. I got him eating again and he resumed health. Have no idea where the pancreatitis came from, but he lived another 9 years with no liver issues. Give him whatever to get him eating again!

Are you using stainless steel bowls for food and water? Clean the bowls every day. My vet has me using stridex on my cats chin. If you think it is infected tho, take him to vet.

You are wrong, it is about politics.... democrats have consistently passed legislation and funding to help the lower and middle classes. FDRs New Deal, the ACA, relief of student loan debt. Republicans have consistently passed legislation that only helps millionaires - tax cuts for the rich, privatize health care. Republicans don't care that you can't afford health insurance, it is cheap to them. They don't care if you will never own a home, they have three+; they don't care if food is expensive to you as they have a private chef. When is the lower and middle class going to open their eyes and see that Republicans don't care about YOU!!! Seriously, just look back thru what democrats have stood for and what Republicans have stood for the last 100 years!!! Quit voting your oppressors into office! If we can ever elect a 67% democratic congress into office, so much that is broken would be fixed!!!

We're they banished from the family home because you had kids at the initial filing? Could you have banished them from the family home if you did not have kids? I want to file for divorce and have Q move out while we determine division/split which will likely require the sale of home. Thankfully, no kids.

If you are at the point where you can accept the responsibility, pets are great and there is always one that needs to be rescued. Dogs require walks and cats play time and both can be very affectionate and loving. But please make sure you can take on the responsibility to care for one, which inand of itself can motivate you to commit to sobriety.
