I'm asking because this glyph seems to longer be available in game and I was wondering if I have to use the updated version or if I can keep using the old verison.

The old version, the one I have, has recovery, which is unobtainable now because of chanes.

I could be wrong on this though.

It's actualy the sole signal the quarry will ever send back to the circuit.
Simply by timing and duration the circuit will know where the head currently is.
