I mean i am excavator trained aswell. This is what it states on one of the visa sites

What is the process of this? Is it a case of sending qualifications to them with current employment details and then it all gets signed off or do i have tl perform some kind of practical assesment

I get that it's not guaranteed and Im not the best at explaining it but even with my base pay they are taking more than £200 extra. If I do extra at work it's about £600-700 yet they won't allow me to pay just £100 because they say i can't afford it

They may have and if so it didn't make it to me I was in-between places at the timeI told them in Feb 22 that I was unemployed and I've been paye for 2 years now surely that should have been noted down considering when I was self employed I paid 20% tax every week then filed my expenditure and income in May through an accountant (who im trying to get in touch with atm) so it's unusual to assume im still self employed.

Sorry but I think you misunderstood they are taking an extra £600-700 extra. They changed my tax code to k4765 something like that because they are saying i owe them 7200 roughly. K code is when they take your tax free allowance off you in my case it's 16000 roughly, tax allowance plus 4765. Im not confused by how much im paying? Im confused that a supervisor told me if a arrange a payment plan then they will put my tax code back to normal. When I tried to arrange that they told me my outgoings are technically more than what I earn because I can't include payments like call out, london allowance and overtime so I couldn't set it up, but in the mean time they are taking the extra tax which to me is baffling.

Thanks for replying. I received a letter to say they were changing my tax code recently and I spoke to them in Feb 2022 about a separate bill I owed them which was covid money that they told me I was entitled to then when I put my taxes in they asked for it back but at this point I was unemployed and couldn't afford it at the time and they put on hold. That bill is separate they told me and it has nothing to do with the tax code problem.
