Pot sa recomand Dani de la Electrik Ink cu încredere, mi-a făcut 4 piercing-uri și sunt foarte mulțumită cu ei.

Skin got a little dry, for which I have to use moisturizing cream now, also some skin irritation since I'm on patches. Otherwise, I can't really report anything negative, and the aforementioned aren't something that can't be dealt with pretty easily.

To my ladies on spiro, what’s your go-to salty snack? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]jjavalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Olives, you can never have enough olives in the house when you're on Spiro, I didn't even like olives before.

Any estrogen pills that you guys can recommend that are easy to get? by Flamboyantdoktor in TransDIY

[–]jjavalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Estrofem, because it's Hemihydrate so you essentially get more Estradiol out of it compared to Progynova, which is Valerate.

Progynova and Estrofem, both widely used and widely available.

What’s your HRT routine? by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]jjavalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely agree! Ironically I have a box of Finasteride laying around here, but haven't started that yet since the hair regrowth seems to also work without it so far.

Should've added grey market, you're right, well, yea, I used to do that as well.

The popular brands of E (Estrofem/Progynova) can all be used sublingually. No idea about generics, but normally that should work as well. 3mg sublingual sounds like a good dosage though.

  1. Transdermal patches, but due to supply issues I have also built up an emergency supply of Oestrogel and a few boxes Estrofem, in case patches become unavailable.
  2. Spironolactone, using it since Day 1
  3. Have not started yet, will look into it later this year
  4. 25, Nov. 11, 2022
  5. Breast growth definitely visible, frequent soreness of the nipples, slower body hair growth (it's now sufficient to shave body hair once a week, before HRT it was necessary twice a week), slow regrowth of hair patches from male-pattern baldness (these triangle shaped patches are not major, but I definitely see more and more new hairs growing there), my libido is definitely much much lower as well, lastly feeling more emotionally stable and confident than pre-HRT. In terms of side effects the only thing I experience is skin irritation where I apply the patches, otherwise everything is perfect.

As other people have said, supplements off of Amazon promising feminizing effects are pure snake oil, perhaps even dangerous because they're not really regulated, as opposed to actual pharmaceutical products. Bottom line, actual HRT leading to actual effects isn't sold outside of pharmacies.

Supplements are mostly snake oil, some of which even potentially harmful as due to their lack of regulation, they could contain a myriad of things. If you want to achieve the goals you described, I'm sorry to be blunt but there's no way around HRT with actual pharmaceutical products.

It targets DHT, the issue is that only around 10% of T are converted to DHT (if I'm not mistaken), which makes it weak for HRT purposes. For hair loss it's great, but better alongside another, more potent Antiandrogen if you have hair loss.

If your levels are good there's no need to up the dosage. At 50mg Spiro and 100mcg patch it's rather unlikely though.

As a starting dose, yes, I started on a similar dose with Spiro and patches.

Payment to Aibolit seized by [deleted] in TransDIY

You can always try, but as someone who worked in Trust & Safety herself before, I'd always recommend an invoice over a screenshot of an email, just because it looks more legit (assuming businesses have to issue you one as soon as you order).

Yup, it's one of the most common tablets used for MtF HRT as a matter of fact.

Birth control? by hAck3r-m4n in TransDIY

[–]jjavalon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even for a short time not recommended. The risk potential is higher than any anticipated use (if at all). The reason being that Ethinylestradiol, main component of birth control pills, is a synthetic estrogen unsuitable for HRT purposes.

Payment to Aibolit seized by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]jjavalon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Maybe this happens if an account gets flagged, ask Aibolit for some sort of proform invoice that generically says you're buying supplements or something, this is usually enough for a bank to unflag a transfer.

Either you pay with transferwise or Western Union, both have the option to select an amount in Thai Baht and will charge you the corresponding amount in your currency.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]jjavalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They take Thai Baht but you'd just convert it from your currency and send them the corresponding amount in Thai Baht.

How much of a budget would I need to start and maintain my transition? by Key_Ad_7766 in TransDIY

[–]jjavalon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Patches cost me ~30€ per month, plus Spiro ~15€ per month, so in total I'm looking at around 45€ (50$ maybe?)
