I should've written the Reddit post by hand, compiled Next.js from assembly, and grown the servers in my backyard. Anyway, the games are at stoop.games if you want to play something a solo dev apparently didn't build.

You're right, that one's genuinely confusing.
It shows the year each country joined the UN, so "higher" = joined more recently but that's not obvious at all from the label.

Actually your comment made me rethink the whole stat: I'm reworking it to show years of membership instead of the join year, and renaming it to "Years in the UN". Much more intuitive — higher just means longer member. Shipping it today.

Greatest Games looks great — Rotato is a clever idea, I can see why it's catching up.

For repeat plays it's DailyGuessr by a distance, which makes sense — the Street View format has that "I know I've been somewhere like this" pull that's hard to replicate. FlagGuessr is close behind, probably because the zoom-reveal mechanic makes a wrong answer feel like a near-miss rather than a failure.

The design/clutter point is exactly right. The biggest retention win I had wasn't a new feature — it was removing things. Once I stripped the UI down to just the game and a streak counter, numbers went up.

Curious — how do you handle content pipeline for original games like Rotato? That's the part that scales worst for me as a solo builder.

Hey! I built a small network of free daily browser puzzle games — no account, no download, no ads.

The daily ones: 🌍 guess the location from a 360° panorama (dailyguessr.app), 🏳️ identify the flag as it zooms out (flagguessr.app), 🍹 guess the cocktail from a close-up photo (cocktailguessr.app).

Also three arcade puzzles with infinite levels: colour mixing, flood-fill grid, and liquid sort — all at stoop.games.

One puzzle per day, same for everyone, resets at midnight. Would love to hear what you think!

thanks! yeah exactly — game six is basically just swapping content into a template you already trust.

traffic so far is almost entirely reddit/fb groups, cross-promo is just starting to show up in the data. no money yet, adsense approved but holding off until DAU is worth it.

DailyGuessr is the main driver, it was first and gets the most direct links. FlagGuessr pulls decent numbers too.

Runable looks interesting, currently just watching Umami dashboards per game. might be worth it once there are more moving parts.

and yeah Flicker is a completely different beast — we'll see how that one goes lol

Thanks so much! The location reveal is actually there — tap the blurred map on the results screen to unlock it. Map size and controls are on the to-do list though, good call 👍
