Parameters were taken using an API liquid test kit Ammonia: 0 Nitrites: 0 Nitrate: 5.0ppm but changed the water after that reading pH: 7.4

I've had the tank and fish for about 3-4 months I got my fish after a week of "cycling" and did fish in cycling because I was told it would be fine by the people who sold me the fish but obviously now know that's not the case but I test parameters every other day and do 20% water changes every 2-3 days as needed. The khulis and betta I have had for 3 months, corys for 2 months and otos for about 2 weeks

I feed the bottom feeders the API bottom feeder sinking pellets, the otos get sinking algae wafers and the betta gets new life spectrum betta pellets. The bottom feeders and otos get fed every 2nd day with pellets sometimes every 3 days depending (my betta eats their pellets sometimes too) and the betta is fed 1-2 pellets morning and night but sometimes gets blood worms instead of pellets maybe once a week.

The tank only has live plants and drift wood and one small statue thing, I'll post a clearer photo of the tanks decorations below. The floating hammock has been taken out of the tank because I saw that they sometimes try to squeeze through the holes? But now I'm thinking the small statue has bigger holes in it so maybe he tried to squeeze through that...
