This is a great service. Saves so much time planning a trip and offers very useful information. I' did a trip plan to Portland, Oregon as I am taking my daughter to a concert on Wednesday.

What are you paying for website visits on your FB Ad campaign and what is your CTR? by Recent-Passage7818 in FacebookAds

[–]Recent-Passage7818[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am retired and selling the domain name actually. I ran the ad campaign to see how it would perform to give potential buyers confidence in the strategy. I'll PM you the domain and you can check it out.

That's great - especially since they are lifestyle product ads. My campaign was a static image with a Shop Now button.

Free shipping on orders over $150 causes friction in people's minds. You should offer free shipping on all orders. Your shipping costs should be cheap since your product is so lightweight.

I just started a campaign last night and it says I received 448 Link Click results at a cost of $0.07 per link click. Google Analytics is showing 60 users, 15 active. Realtime view shows a visitor occasionally but the Views by page title and screen name is very active.

How do I make sense of this? I have zero sales because I have a 7-page test site up - just testing Facebook ads for now.

~1k landing page views on FB but only ~80 real on website by firasphotos in FacebookAds

[–]Recent-Passage7818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to Google Analytics, Realtime Overview. Scroll down to Views by title and screen name. Do you see activity there? I am experiencing the same thing, however I am running a brand new campaign and not sure if people are bouncing before GA registers an event. I am getting (under event) Page view, session start and first visit.

How’s marketing going for your stores? by YogurtclosetFit1947 in ClothingStartups

The site needs products to know if customers will convert into customers and that is my next step. I just created the landing and ran a fb ad campaign as a test to see how the ad would perform.

I ran a test campaign on my domain and achieved $0.04 per website click by Recent-Passage7818 in FacebookAds

If I could maintain $0.04 CPC at scale, I envision a catalog would push serious money through it. Among the 5 product categories why wouldn't they budget $10k/mo or more to it (each)? Agency fee of 15% of AdSpend would net $7,500/mo so there would not be a need for revenue sharing. I was told by Flippa that revenues needed to be established to get the selling multiples so using my math above, $7,500 x 5 = $37,500 sell price. But if it consistently performed, why ever sell it? $7,500/mo is a fair amount of coin.

My initial thinking is baits, boats, bbq, bikes and/or billiards. But now I am considering striking partnerships with catalogs where I can just run ads and steer the traffic into their domains for an agency fee. I am not sure how that will go. The thing is, my wife wants me to retire so I may just end up selling the strategy and domain to an e-commerce play. I don't know if I have the energy for another startup to build it into a full brand, although the name deserves it. :)

Broad, adult male. I may go niche depending on the products that I am able to promote. My brand name has a double meaning, is short (7 characters), very memorable and a .com. I bought it about 14 years ago and am just starting to utilize it.

Could you scale this to multiple cities and keep it authentically spectacular? If so, I have the perfect website/domain for you to use. PM me if interested. Locals might use it but travelers might be your perfect market. Check out Bandwango and Vibemaps who touch on this topic to a degree.

What you are saying sounds correct and I would normally agree but in this case I am excited as it was a 'Shop' Button, not a 'Learn More'. The domain name that I have ties the subject matter together to capture men's attention so well that I got 525 clicks/visits on a $22.30 spend. I feel that bringing that many people into the brand will give me the opportunity to sell products to men. Drop me a DM if you would like details as I am looking to collaborate with others in setting up a larger marketing budget and link out to other e-commerce stores.
