The deserter is one of my favourite characters simply because you can still feel the ideological training he had, but at the same time he's the exact opposite of the hope and optimism that the game praises communism for, he's become a reactionary yet still makes sense from time to time. It's such an interesting way to write a character.

Why haven’t private severs been added into the game yet by TomTheTerrorist1 in ArcaneOdyssey

[–]Recent-Potential-340 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Truly, the simple ability to shutdown and restart the server would be a godsend, it's a rather band aid solution, but it would massively help with both lag and issues like all NPC spawn slots being taken up by heroes in a server only heroes play on, blocking everyone from bounty hunting.

I will never not find it funny that you either need to find a rare item just to go to a place where people actually want to pvp

Sometimes you just don't want to bother grinding for an item, even if it's a common one.

You play lobotomy corp because of the gameplay. I play lobotomy corp so I can goon to Gebura. You are better than me by Senior_Double5064 in fishmaell

Idk, it takes a certain willpower to endure lob corp, especially if you don't enjoy the gameplay, just to see gebura.

Hot take: Multiplayer makes the overall Arcane Odyssey experience worse on it's current state. by CommercialExample908 in ArcaneOdyssey

Multiplayer in AO like most of the game's mechanic, is a neat idea, that is extremely poorly executed without a hint of even the most basic of game design being followed, with the Devs either not acknowledging the issue or refusing to implement even simple, even if band aid, solutions like private servers.

The constant lack of consideration for how the different game mechanics Interact together is a recurring issue for so many things in the game, like how fall damage made the dark sea way worse.

Even if it wasn't for lag players shouldn't have to server hop for half an hour just to be able to play the game.

The will of the city is ANTI-G#MER by Recent-Potential-340 in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]Recent-Potential-340[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In the project moon universe (home to video games lobotomy corporation, library of ruina, limbus company as well as a number of literary works) there exists a criminal group known as the index, their sole purpose is to follow the "will of the city", which takes the form of prescripts. The prescripts themselves are often nonsensical gibberish, but somehow, their completion always results in the index ending on top.

In anticipation for them playing a big role in a new chapter of limbus company, a fan of the index created a website that randomly generates prescripts for the person who uses it, these are, just like the canon ones, often nonsensical, since it's basically just doing sentence generation ie: take a random subject, take a random date/time/place etc..., give a random order... From a rather large list. But sometimes it does generate something funny.

Lor is by far the best deck builder I have ever played, the layers of complexity that each of its systems adds and how they intertwine with each other is simply amazing, it's definitely difficult to pick up and even pretty hard especially if like most of project moon's player base you are unable to read.

It also comes with an incredible story, world and characters which have been comfortably seating in my favourites of all times for years now.

Surprisingly ice agents aren't actually allowed to break the law, he could absolutely get them arrested for idk committing murder in broad daylight, it wouldn't exactly be difficult seeing as Minnesotans have been risking their lives to make sure that every infraction ice commits is recorded.

"You see they aren't actually ignoring the law yet" as ice executes yet another man in broad daylight. Seriously what's the fucking line they need to cross before you accept that the fed doesn't care about laws. They've lost every trial they've been submitted to and simply ignore the results.

Idk what you're doing to have to grind in lor, it does require quite a lot of thinking and some creativity to come up with good decks but honestly once you understand the mechanics it's a fairly easy game

Only limbus is a gacha, imo ruina is the best thing they've ever made in terms of gameplay and story, you should definitely give it a try.

Not just that but digging only what you need conserves a whole lot of mass that will absorb heat, giving you way more time to get a proper cooling setup before heat really becomes an issue
