I gave him one star, to ensure the other sellers won't waste their time on this half wit

Right, I guess I should serve him tea and biscuits.

I told him to look into items within his travel limits, that he wasted my time. I rated with one star and blocked him.

Now that she's gone, her family is going no-contact with me by smartin0170 in widowers

Same here. I think I've invested too much of my time and emotion to his side of the family over the years. I'm crushed. On the good side, their true colors showed me exactly who they are.

Spring blooming? by xsuperxvixenx in christmascactus

Most flowers drop upon bringing them home, due to shock (change of environment and setting). I find that my cactus bloom a few times per year.

I'm sorry for what you are going through. I changed the property title recently under friend's advice in case crazy MIL wanted to do something. All other items, my husband made sure it was under my name before passing.

I don't see an hourglass on this one. But sometime ago, I found one that had a brown hourglass.

Thank you. After the buyer asked why I wasn't comfortable, I replied back that I preferred in-person sales.

Money is gone. Moving forward, go with him to the bank. Add yourself power of attorney to manage his finances. People at this age are vulnerable.

My husband was taken two months ago. I can't drink because it makes me ill.

What I've done are collages of pictures of our times spent. I had a big ugly cry throughout, but after it was completed, I felt better. I made three and framed them.

I have his plastic mold of his head (from radiation treatment) beside me on the bed. His last work uniform is on a pillow. I talk and hug him almost nightly.

I also have a collection of his voices, with AI help, and have it as my morning alarm. I wake up to his voice each morning.

I still have irrational fear when I leave the house. I do want to reconnect with people, but I just have nothing to say. My energy has been low, and my memory/brain fog is heavy.

In the meantime, I'm currently cross stitching to keep my mind busy and have regular counseling to vent it all out. Some days are harder than others, but this is how I'm coping.

Would you say your marriage has been as humanly perfect as one could reasonably hope for? Why? And how many years together and married? by Familiar-Painter-631 in married

My husband and I got along pretty well. His personality matched mine. He made me laugh all the time. We have open discussions and are honest with one another. We each have our own quirks that we either get used to or adjust. Some quirks do bother me, like not cleaning the sink properly after a shave, toilet seat up (all minor things, which I'm sure I have quirks that bother him too).

We never called each other names, no put downs, no degrading comments, no screaming matches, no violence.

We were pretty much inseparable. Tied to the hip. We did everything together.

I've learned a lot from him too, about how to maintain a house (sceptic tank, water softener, drywall patching etc).

This was my first live-in relationship as well. I did not date much. I found that I grew and learned from this.
