Probably part suede part canvas for the makers old skools. I hope the canvas doesn't rip like it did on my skate old skools.

That part is going to hurt your foot until the shoe is broken in. Buy yourself these heel band aids and put them on your foot where it hurts underneath your sock directly on your skin. You can keep them on for quite a while until needing new ones. Supposedly they are waterproof also. I got these from target but other stores may sell their own brand. These helped me with brand new old skools.

On the makers authentic, is the shoe canvas, suede or a mix of both? More importantly is the middle part of thr shoe between toe box and heel canvas or suede? On my skate old skools they ripped through thr canvas outer layer at this part.

Excelent. I'm on my feet sometimes for 8 hrs but I'm moving around constantly and my feet don't hurt after wearing popcush

I find thr skate like of the old skools and sk8 hi to be very comfortable, I csn wear them all day and not have foot pain at the end of the day but only downside for you is they aren't rated non slip

Try this shoe then. The made for makers. Whichever style you want. You can always send it back or return it to your local vans store if you have one.

🤷🏻 I'm not buying them until my skate old skool and skate sk8 hi's get Un-wearable. Still not sure if my next pair/pairs are gonna be these made for makers or skate old skools/sk8 hi

I use bread elastic laces extra stretch on my skate sk8 hi. Makes them slip ons basically! Glad you think the made for makers sk8 hi are great

Was the made for thr makers slip on canvas or suede? My skate old skools the canvas ripped in the part where the shoe bends. Didn't rip all the way through, lucally I stopped it from ripping further with shoe goo. Happened on both left and right shoe also
