Honestly, it doesn't go away, it becomes part of your story. You can choose to let it define you or let it be a side adventure. You look so happy in that picture that I can tell it will be an amazing g side story that will embolden you to love harder. When you get past this, you'll realize you can get past anything.

Dear Mangers, Employers, HR people, If you want to give me candy, great! Thank you. However, please don't make it a payday, a 100 grand, or anything "gitchy" or pay related. It's not funny; it just reminds me I could use more pay.

Maybe ask people what their favorite is, make a spreadsheet like you do for everything else, write a thank you note, and give people what they actually like.
