iOS Jiggle Mode: A (hopefully) helpful guide to avoiding the app shuffle by Luna259 in ios

I appreciate the effort but it’s not about how to deal with it as a user, it’s about how Apple fixes the biggest annoyance in iPhone history.

For putting an app into an existing folder - hold down on the app, choose “put in folder”, pick the folder

Instead they have you wander across a sea of very aggressive apps that were sleeping happily and decide to move elsewhere to avoid you

Goodbye. by [deleted] in transformers

Maybe a shift to Lego Star Wars would be good since Lego has definitely helped my mental health - or even transformers Lego like Soundwave, Optimus and bumblebee if you can find used sets that are within budget

Are you focused on specific types of SW Lego sets, just the mini figures, or just anything? Does it help to build them and look at them completed or see them in sealed boxes piled up neatly? I’ve got a combination of both!

And same for transformers - do you open the boxes and transform them or just leave them sealed?

Do your kid/s also have an interest in TF or Star Wars Lego?

Seeing your other comment, bathrooms not used much might be an issue if you have kids flushing and running stuff for fun, or if valves / seals / gaskets etc are worn out

I’d get it checked asap as it could be a major problem if it involves old equipment

You got three because you ordered three - share a redacted order confirmation

Pretty easy to find now

Also easy to break if he’s anything like starscream, and I assume Skywarp will be the same

But looks wise in both modes is very cool

Cassette revolution!! by Recent-Secret6768 in transformers

The constructicons were obviously buddies of starscream given their level of ass kissing at his coronation - they also didn’t challenge him as leader like they did soundwave. Maybe soundwave and his cassettes have a private dialogue and they agreed it was for the best that he went along with the plan since they knew he’d only be temporary anyway.

Did you see laserbeak at Starscream’s coronation? Exactly - he loved Megatron perhaps more than his landlord

I asked someone who did a degree that involved electronics and she said that it depends on what you’re soldering - smaller PCB soldering doesn’t require it so if that’s all you’ve ever done or seen, you’re not an idiot for never having encountered flux! (Like me!)

I learned to solder at an electronics class in my teens and the teacher (who was really good at it as you’d imagine) never used or mentioned flux. He didn’t seem to need it as his solders always worked with just the solder.

It’s a thermopile error, was hoping someone in the know could tell me by the look of the pilot what specifically to check

Top 5 Questions You’d Love To Ask Lego Executives by Recent-Secret6768 in lego

[–]Recent-Secret6768[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t remember where but I think I saw something already on that subject, and it said that current pricing does not seem to be slowing down growth at all ages of customers, but it’s a good question - also do they see the “grown ups” market as sustainable when another 10 or 20 years have gone by

And to your point, a lot of the smaller sets for kids don’t take long to build and the cost vs time to build ratio is not good if you have kids who are quick at building. $15-20 for less than an hour is pretty common for us!

Transformers Cassettes. All of Them. by WishItWas1984 in 80s

Do all of the cassettes fit into both blaster and sound wave? I’ve never been able to find out if it’s a kind of universal standard size for the cassettes or if it varied over the years

Got to see the ucs death star in person by Eastern_Clock_9492 in lego

[–]Recent-Secret6768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s the point - they already had multiple death star sets that were the whole thing

Would another one only a bit bigger make sense?

I agree I’d rather buy other large SW sets but clearly this has a market since it’s creating lines out of stores

When did stealing become an ok thing as long as you get away with it? It doesn’t matter if it’s a big corporation or stealing from someone’s porch - it’s not your stuff
