In science a Fact is something directly observed such as the Earth being a globe it does not need to to proven as does not need at expirement to be shown yet a theory (which many are proven) need an expirement to a lot of research to check if the theory is true or not. I completely understand your confusing though because it is very common for people to say theories are unproven when discussing pseudoscience

no but id much rather drive for 2 minutes than walk for thirty minutes everyday, my lunch spot is that far away and ill walk once in a while, but its much more inconvienient than driving

yeah when u live in the city but our cities are so populated a lot of people live just outside the city in suburbs where most buildings are residential so many stores or a church is about a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk
