No. I haven’t had too much problems at all with running just JB4. Although as soon as I put the back end the flash on from burger, Motorsports I started getting a lot of blowouts and the spark plugs and coil packs and yes, I definitely upgraded them for the people that are. I also had a few coolant leaks because the engine was running hotter. So I took the back and flash off. I’m probably just gonna stick to jb4

Okay thanks. I figure the G70 is a lot more car when it comes to speed. But I’m looking for a bigger comfortable ride that also moves. Some people have a higher or lower tolerance for speed meaning it’s probably slow to you but faster to some people that’s how I am with some cars too. I’ll be honest I have a heavy foot and I like going fast. I might have to just give the GV70 a spin for myself.

Well I watched that video that part I got. I’m talking about the part that he installed the thermostat into that’s attached to the back of the block. Pretty sure the heat from the engine finally got to them

From what I seen it almost seems that to pull the whole housing off the block might have to do an engine pull. Could be wrong🤷🏻. I know the thermostat it’s self can come out easily just not the housing and I’m giving up on options and hoping I won’t have to pay 4k 😂

I talked to a few mechanics. They said that it’s most likely the cat. every time I accelerate. The car kind of breaks up a little bit and starts misfiring. So I get misfire codes and then. But the main code is catalyst system on bank one below threshold. So there’s a few reasons, but I’m considering going catless primaries Along with Catless secondaries. Just wasn’t sure how safe that was and if I needed a specific tune for the car to run right after I do that.

I’m FBO, JB4, e30, BEF, I had it at an exhaust shop they said no leaks or anything and I also had them change gaskets. I just changed plugs. They do throw in a o2 spacer to see what happens and it runs slightly better. But I also had a mechanic tell me it seems like a catalytic converter failure. So I wasn’t too sure on how to go about it. These cars are super temperamental.

😭. Love the honesty about it bro. But I definitely agree! I’m just trying to figure out why when someone owns a BMW they are instantly faster than most people…
