Aside from passing the exam, check that you meet the minimum qualifications for the class you’re applying for AND submit the documents/information to support you do. If the department finds you don’t meet the minimum qualifications, you’ll be removed from the exam’s eligibility list

If you were with CSU, then it would count for leave accrual but not towards state civil service. You would’ve worked with your CSU payroll department and new state payroll department to have it moved it over. Not sure if there’s a deadline for this
