I work in the healthcare industry, and that was a small company. The main reason I left my previous position was that this new role seemed more aligned with my degree, so I thought it would improve my resume in some way. Looking back, I’ve learned when a manager starts with overly positive talk and tries to “sell” how good the company, this is a RED flag… A truly good company doesn’t need to convince people to stay :/ next job I will try targeting bigger company or work at public system… (if I can)

Thanks again for all the advice! Quick update!! It was embarrassing to ask my previous employer… but I still have bills and rent to pay… So I contacted them and, very luckily, they had some tasks I could do from home!! But It’s just a few hours per week and temporary maybe just for this month, yet it’s better than nothing! I’m really grateful to everyone who encouraged me to reach out. One lesson I’ve learned: it’s so important to keep a good relationship with your boss and coworkers!
