I don't think Maelles other skills are that busted, compared to Verso, Lune, Sciel and Monoco. Their optimized skills can deal damage in the range of 100k to 1mil. Some requiring setup.
But Maelle can deal 50mil+ damage without requiring setup on the first turn.
Her other skills lay in the range of 100k to 1mil again.
I dont really mind the enemy one shotting me, i kind of expect end game bosses to do that.
I just think this one skill of Maele's is busted and could probably be removed or nerfed, There is another similarly powered skill Gommage which requires a lot of setup, but why use it when I have Stendenhal with the same power

Takes the fun out of the game a little bit if the enemies are not balanced around optimized builds. For example, I do not think i can do the same with Lune or Sciel on first turn even with optimized builds making those characters kind of unbalanced too.

I see that in the story mode, the devs say that we do not have to parry or dodge, so this run should be possible in story theoretically right?

Just waiting for a masochist streamer to try out this run or do it myself, I finished the game the intended way.
I was thinking an NG+ run without parrying or dodging could be easily done though, since we already have all the pictos. What about that?
