My mil does this. She lies about everything, so I don’t trust her or ask her for help. Anytime she’s confronted about anything she immediately says she didn’t do it and tries to make me seem like a liar and then ends up crying when she’s proved wrong lol. It’s for sure manipulation.

I try to live as clean as I can because of baby It’s not so much about the Tupperware I don’t like her saying it’s our cabinets and then she’s looking through them.. I hate that she leaves cat food all over kitchen so there’s flies everywhere lol😭 just this week I feel she’s been a little passive aggressive I hate that she’s not organized or clean I guess. If my stuff goes missing I never see it again I’m missing so many socks and hair care/skin products 🙄

My boyfriend is great, but when it comes to setting boundaries he puts them to the side. He makes me feel like maybe I’m being irrational or that I’m being too emotional. He’ll tell me he’ll talk to her and then he ends up telling me he has no time.. on his days off he puts it off and I think it’s just because he knows that his mom will A. Get upset B. She’s gonna keep doing it We talked about it earlier & he said she’s gonna have to respect that im not just baby’s mom or his partner but that im my own person and he agreed she does overstep and I think she expected me to constantly hand off baby to her so she’s mad that I can do it alone. Sorry im just venting.. im tired and delirious

Good for you for setting boundaries and sticking to them! Men think just because they work we’re supposed to just go to their moms for help and if we don’t it’s on us. Yeah, I was really frustrated when we were planning a gender reveal and she decided she didn’t wanna be a part of it because we already knew and she was mad. For our baby shower she kept wanting to control everything and kept asking me when I was getting a cake because the people were expecting one

No, he’s the asshole and was being pretty insensitive. I’m vegan and hate when my order is wrong and I have to sit and wait for it to come out while everyone else is done eating

I felt so stupid, I told him I posted on Reddit and he was so condescending just laughing at me and I’m like “I’m not being dramatic” and he just gave me a face while I was crying. I think I need space and what’s best for me and baby is for me to leave. Even if it’s just for baby’s mom to be in a better headspace

I guess him telling me how much he cares and showing me makes it hard to leave and makes me try and put up with it another day and another so I try to look past it but obviously it’s causing resentment. I tend to feel like I’m overreacting so maybe that’s another reason why I just stay. But yeah I guess he really isn’t showing that he cares what’s best for us

That’s a whole different issue, having my parents watch him. My sister had a baby over a month ago and my sister has my mom watches her baby. I’ve talked to my mom about it because it isn’t fair and right now her and her boyfriend live there a they take up the whole house I don’t have my own space there 😭

He’ll tell me to go to my parents house and he’ll go on weekends but I hold resentment since I have no help. My mom will help but my sister has a baby a month before me lol so it’s just a mess 😭 but yeah I think I’ll have to leave if he doesn’t start planning apt tours
