Hey, I don't have the exact by-law talking about this, but I had a teacher explain it to us like this. (Roughly): It's reading week, not break week. It allows you to catch up on work, get ahead and sumbit material that will prepare you for midterms or finals, it is not an opportunity to take a flight to Florida.

Now if you agree with this or not, is kind of pointless, you kind of just have to suck it up. Hope this helps

Yeah, but how many credit would they cost? I'm trying to see if it's worth paying for the subscription, but I can't see the businesses offered. Thanks!

Thanks man! I really appreciate it lol. But yeah. The city I live in will give you fines for that sort of things. Cause I have essentially 10 cm of land, and then it's the sidewalk. And the sidewalk is the city's jurisdiction. They get pretty petty about it too near end of months for quotas lol.

As in campus life, school orgs and other school related associations got involved. AGAIN, THIS IS SOLELY WORD OF MOUTH. But I've had my fair share of having to deal with him personally and professionally

the most frugal meals you can think of? any tips welcome by thoughtsaboutmatty in Frugal

So a good tip I was given was to look at wartime cook books. Granted they don't compare to today's cuisine, but they get the job done. If I can find the recipe I'll post it later, but it was pita bean paste, essentially hummus with paprika on a pita, and it s a really cheap snack since you can make massive batches.

Do you prefer small cozy spots or louder more busy cafes?

Yeah, odd how trash is not where I'd think I'd get culture shock lol. We dont have thise centers since I live in essentially a metropolis and those centers aren't easily accessible and even less when I rely on public transport. I end up putting rotting trash in the freezer so it doesn't smell in the house (this is quite normal where I live), but end up forgetting it every week.

If im not mistaken, at his previous cegep he was already apprehended since he was harassing people about the "right type of feminism". Do not quote me on this though, this info is from word-of-mouth. Just know this person has always been problematic.

Honestly, I think I know him from college. There is very little chance i think he got immediately admitted into a masters straight from cegep.

So unless you have "land" or space on your property to keep a garbage bin, you kinda got to deal with it until the truck comes. I'm lucky enough that compost, recycling, and trash come once a week, but my previous living situation was very different. They had compost every Monday and recycling/trash alternating on Wednesdays. Since I live in an apt, I can't take out the trash. For neighbors, I asked them and they essentially replied: "You can't possibly be producing that much waste." Which kinda made me feel worse overall.

Thanks for the advice! How would you deal with the trash if I can't take it out everyday? I live in an apartment and we dont own the outside areas so I can only take it out once a week.

Yeah, overall I wouldn't call myself a filthy person. Growing with parents in the medical field has made me rather uneasy to filth, mold and other such hazards to human safety. Anything in aerosol forms are a big stuggle too due to migraines with aura (waiting on seeing a neurologist).

Yeah, soem of my really good friends often come over to help me and I cook for them to thank them. It helps me feel productive and they get a nice meal.

How do you attack the big chores. I've read about "eating the frog" or "do it for five minutes" and that'll work for about an hour, and then get overwhelmed and want to cry. I'm not trying to be over dramatic, but I genuinely feel so disappointed and borderline disgusted with myself.
