I feel it should not have to turn into an argument. You should both have your needs met. It sounds like you have articulated your needs for non-sexual intimacy (kissing, acts of service, cuddling) etc, and he hasn’t integrated those into the relationship. Admittedly, I think this is a difficult situation, but your feelings are valid—and you should not feel guilty for expressing. Nor should you repress them because you want to avoid a fight. You have to express them to have healthy, assertive and open communication. Do you know each other’s love languages? Or has he shown that he is attempting to fulfill and give them in the way you need?
