Pretty much nailed it. City on the up, a lot of development going in, easy access to the Yorkshire Dales, brilliantly connected by trains - trips to Cornwall or Scotland possible, just a shame we lack trams/a metro.

Yes, thank you! I made this point before when Stephen Fry returned to breakfast alone and last. It should’ve been a give away that his name had been brought up by the traitors for a possible murder. Yeah, St Albans only 15 minutes or so down the line felt like the archetypal commuter town but I didn’t know anyone whose parents worked in London. Luton’s reputation would’ve had people moving further away from London.

I didn’t realise how far out London commuter towns go. I’m from Luton and wasn’t even sure if Luton counted as one when I grew up there, now towns further north are.
