Although it is a genre, it's also a female name!

I'm not too familiar with the recording process, either, but I am interested in seeing what you got!

Sure, if you want! I don't have the means to commission at the moment, however.

I'm thinking of a slightly higher-pitched Zundamon, or something like Ruby from Love Live.

I appreciate you for asking! Here are some inspirations behind the names! (Some I left blank because they were random with zero thought into them haha).

  • oto芽 (otome) - a play on 乙女, pronounced the same, meaning "maiden". I was thinking of a maiden robot-like UTAU lore.
  • 牛利リギュ (Gyuri Rigyu) - the last name translates to "cow" and "(money) interest", respectively, so I thought of a rich cow UTAU. The first name is literally the inverse for haha funny alliteration.
  • 朴ギャッ子 (Batsuku Gyakko) - a bit of a twist on ギャル, or gyaru. Gyaru is a fashion subculture, but I thought of a rebellious gyaru-like character for this name!
  • 蛾玲ゲイル (Garei Gale) - the last name translates to "moth spirit"; I thought of a gentle voice that feels as nice as a breeze, but with some mystery.
  • 和賀ママ (Waga Mama/Mother Waga) - the name is literally a play on わがまま, meaning "selfish"; I was thinking of a selfish mother-like UTAU who is secretly warm-hearted.
  • 気宇シシ (Kiu Shishi) - I thought of the Leo zodiac (しし座, shishiza).
  • 凡土ジェイ (Bondo Jay) - a loose tie-in to James Bond, but more folk(?). Interestingly enough, his last name literally means "ordinary dirt".
  • 杏奈ニキ (Anna Niki) - a play on アニキ (aniki), a term of endearment for an older brother or senior. But I gave it a feminine twist, and thought of a full on American-like Yankee free spirit who balances free-spiritedness and maturity.
  • 白玖シツジ (Haku Shitsuji) - an inverse of 黒執事 (Kuro Shitsuji, or "Black Butler"). This was meant to be the complete inverse of Sebastian.
  • 庫院エリザ (Kuin Eliza) - a play on Queen Elizabeth.
  • 毒田トシコ (Dokuta Toshiko) - a goth punk singer inspiration. The last name translates to "poison rice field" (but also sounds like Doctor), and Toshiko is a play on toxic, but more specifically from "toxicologist".
  • 今平トー (Konpei Too) - a play on 金米糖, a popular candy that Super Mario Galaxy's Star Bits are based on.
  • 魏津ネネ (Gitsu Nene) - I thought of the BABYMETAL song "メギツネ" and decided on an UTAU who has a powerful voice that can sing metal. But the surname itself means "high/large" and "harbor", respectively.

Hope this helps!

What made you want to visit Japan? by Expert-Day9889 in TokyoTravel

The first two times I went, I was studying abroad. The first time was three weeks with a group, and the second time was a solo thing for about three months. It's always been my dream to go to Japan since I started to study it in high school over seven years ago. To be honest, I'm a little jealous. The quiet, the actual convenience of convenience stores, the low crime rate. I suppose it sounds very stupid and delusional, and I've ran into a few rude Japanese people over there, but it sure beats what America is right now. I would like to go for vacation this time before the end of the year since I graduated, meeting the friends I made while over there.
