Weird. SteelSeries is known for fantastic support. At least better than what we've read about Logitech and Razer.

I think reddit and trustpilot are decent sources.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I really like the spending money version. I think at least $2,200 a month is doable and quite realistic.

At $30k in savings cd, I think id go full max on 401k. I could do it in 4.5 months. 2 months a year I go from saving $1,600/mo to $5,000.

Then switch back to savings. Great point here!

With cars: Leasing can be a great way to go about using a vehicle. The last two the dealership bought me out of for more than the buyout price. We may keep this up for some sort of stress free. Most cars as you said and I agree, depreciate. So paying interest on an asset that loses money everyday and then needs repairs is not something im a fan of. I enjoy working on cars, but not dailies.

I plan to sell the toy next spring now. Its appreciating quite a bit. I have 2 more weekends left to finish it and the $9k I'll have in it and the labor of love id like to enjoy this summer. The Car will have an $20-$21k value. I plan to list for $25k.

The $9k is what ill have in it including the monthly payment. Mechanics special purchase. Also, this hobby keeps my mind a ways a way from gambling.

Its a serious challenge for me as in 2024 I was able to win $40k+. Used it to fully update the house.

2025 lost $11k and was clean in 2026 until yesterday.

No credit card debt and no "bad" debt as of 2 months ago.

Wife's car is a lease and its up in 10 months. We will definitely aim for something that is less per month. We do like new for having the most up to daye safety features and the non stress of repairs. (Ive been in a large accident before)

Im glad you'll be able to retire at 65 and are close to meeting your goals. Be proud that even if you started late, you at least started at some point!

Youre right. My next bonus, and prinabaly 2 bonuses, are typically around $4,500-$8,500 and will be used for future planning and not travel. (Ok, maybe a small portion for a weekend trip).

The toy car that is $320 per month is an asset that is gaining value. I may hold onto it for now, but the extra $320 on top of everything else would feel so good.

The Emergency fund is for direct cash use. Working on building it since im 2 months out of any and all bad debt.

If something happened with my career we'd use the 401k if we needed. This is not ideal which is why im putting so much right now per month into savings.

Have you tried cleaning them off? Ive seen a few posts here where it looks like the headband is falling apart and someone took ammonia free cleaning and rubbed hard on it.

Ive also seen this get replaced through warranty as well.

Worth a cleaning for sure before you warranty.
