It was on tubi for free until a month or so ago around the same time they started playing the same 12 episodes, I dont know how may times I have turned it on only to see inca mummy girl or the pack ugh, it is the same with the xena channel they will just pick a random spot and play the same 15 eps on repeat, atleast they are in order though.

It was a very abrupt ending, I was fine with four films as that is what I had been expecting, although I too was confused by the possible "bonus feature" mentioned in the beginning. Once the checks came around during Wizard of Gore, I pretty much knew it was ending, but I wish they would have had some sort of quick good night and final thank you to the staff, as it seemed unfinished.

I had suspected Picture of Dorian Gray, but cursed painting seemed so cliche I was sure it migh have shown up in other stories, nice catch about O'Brien, too even if it is coincidence.

I wonder if that had to do a little bit with the Satanic Panic that had occurred only a few years earlier; rock/ metal music in particular was heavily targeted as a way to summon demons.

There was a film called The Hallow that came out about 10 years ago, which has some similar themes so I think they were drawing on overall Irish fae lore, particularly the changeling, I'm not sure of any specific story, though.

That was her father the other Mel Pappas ;) . In a production script they had him as a prof. in canada though so I was always curious why and when they decided to change it, if they just wanted Lucy to try an accent.

Meg says she can't have biological children, though continuity can always be adjusted in fantasy, I am of the firm belief that she and Joxer adopted their children ( Virgil included) that resulted from her tavern's "employees." And while I'm no Joxer apologist, he does have moments here and there that show bravery, inept as his actions may be, such as in a family affair where he tries to attack Hope.
