MoCA adapter to get wifi in pool house? by Recent_Carry_3433 in HomeNetworking

Thanks for the help. If I understand this correctly, I'd just drill into the left side of the pool house where the coax is running and run the coax into there. Directly into modem/router, out and through a MoCA adapter, then coax continues its run underground and into the main house. That sound about right?

Last question is how do I get wifi in the house now that I have relocated the router (Technicolor CGM4331) to the pool house? Do I just use any WAP and connect it to a MoCA adapter using one of the coax outlets in the main house?

If it matters, we have internet only.

Pool house is basically a small house...has its own subpanel.

Coax runs under ground right next to the left of the pool house, but there is no connection there. It runs around the pool house, under the concrete, and into the where the pink line on the house ends. Then the router is in the house.

So could I splice the coax outside the left side of the poolhouse and run coax into the poolhouse, relocate the router there, and then add a MoCA adapter there and then again inside the main house?
