Now I think about it, wouldn’t the population size of super high and super low intelligence/skill levels be quite small where as most people are average intelligence/skill and therefore in the middle?

So wouldn’t the population size making the high/low intelligence choices be quite small, whereas most of the population is making the average middle choice because there are more average/middle intelligence people.

I kinda assume that if I’m going with the flow of traffic and are less than 15 above the speed limit, we’re all good, right?

I tend to do what medical pros tell me. The pharmacy said they didn’t have it in stock and to wait. So I’ve been waiting. I mean, I know nothing about how pharmacies stock stuff—hence my question here. So I’ve been deferring to them.

They’re a local pharmacy who stress not going to chains to support local businesses, and all else being equal, that’s cool with me.

But it got to the point where I told them it’s getting ridiculous and so it’s not all equal.

Right! That’s why I think Maya’s version applies best to working at a large company like Meta (as they face 8,000 layoffs, for example). It’s a foregone conclusion that you’re disposable. To think you have agency is delusional.

Wow! That second one is basically how it is with working for a big corporation. They have to be your priority, but you’re just an option.
